Sustainability facts about the data centres where Dispatcher Paragon Cloud is hosted
Dispatcher Paragon Cloud is hosted in Microsoft data centres in the UK and the Netherlands. Microsoft is working to reduce the environmental impact of its data centres, including those that host Microsoft 365, by working towards stated goals on:
- Reducing water waste, operational waste, and cement usage
- Becoming diesel free
- Using additional, new renewable energy generation
At the Netherlands (West Europe) data centre, Microsoft is using circular economy principles and other techniques to meet its sustainability commitments around carbon, water, waste and ecosystems. Achievements include:
- 91% renewable energy coverage from wind power (approximate energy procured through June 2021)
- 1.16 power usage effectiveness (PUE) (12-month weighted average through February 2022)
- 0.08 water usage effectiveness (WUE) (January to December 2021)
- Rainwater capture as an alternative water source to help offset humidification water
- 84.8% waste diversion rate (January to December 2021)
